AWS Artifact is a self-service portal for on-demand access to AWS compliance reports. Achieving this certification demonstrates that AWS provides a framework for technical and governance measures to secure and protect personal health data, governed by French law.ĪWS was evaluated and certified by independent third-party auditors on June 30, 2022. Introduced by the French governmental agency for health, Agence Française de la Santé Numérique (ASIP Santé), HDS certification aims to strengthen the security and protection of personal health data. The following 16 Regions are now in scope of this certification: AWS customers who handle personal health data can be hosted in the AWS Cloud certified Regions with confidence. This alignment with the HDS requirements demonstrates our continued commitment to adhere to the heightened expectations for cloud service providers.
